Who is Annie Williams? She's a girl whose life goal is to help others. She believes that there is no greater feeling than knowing that you've helped someone achieve something great! Family and friends would describe her as dedicated, independent and reliable. When she puts her mind to something she set out to complete it. She has overcome every obstacle that has been put in her way. As a Visionary Queen she seeks out to help others by taking their words and putting them into a vision.
The summer before her Junior year of High School, she interned at a non-profit organization called Hack the Hood. They presented her with knowledge and skills to build websites for local small businesses in Oakland. In the summer of 2015,
She received an amazing opportunity to intern at the Port of Oakland. She interned not only in the Social Responsibility Division (SRD), but also in the Human Resources Department (HR). She created and edited Excel Spreadsheets for SRD and made phone calls to update information for a list created to help the general public learn about opening a business and how to increase profits. In HR she helped with the organization of files.
This past summer, Williams wanted your "typical" teenage summer job, after searching and applying for countless jobs, she finally landed one at a local bowling ally in Alameda.
